The Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company is always looking for dedicated men and women who are interested in becoming firefighters in our community. We have many roles to fill, from Junior Members at 15-18 years of age to Active Firefighters from 18 years of age on up, to Associate Members who can help with fundraising and non-emergency activities, and lastly, our Auxillary who have been supporters of this fire company for many years.
A number of individuals who have volunteered for fire companies have started their own careers, parlaying the skills learned in organizations like ours into other public safety fields, including but not limited to Career Firefighters, Career EMTs, Paramedics, Police Officers, and other branches of Law Enforcement, Emergency 911 Dispatchers, Fire Marshalls, Fire School Instructors, Fire Science Teachers, Public Safety Educators, serving in our Military, and many more.
