It is with deep regret that the Officers and Members of the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company announce that Firefighter and Life Member Walter "Beanie" Sutherland answered his Final Alarm on Thursday, March 10, 2011. Firefigher Sutherland was a 39 year member of the company. He held the offices of Assistant Ambulance Secretary, 2nd Ambulance Attendant, Assistant Engineer, and Chief Engineer. Memorial Service arrangements are pending at this time.
