RBVFC along with assistance from Lewes, Bethany Beach and Sussex EMS responded to a building fire at the Airport Apts., on Parsonage Rd. off of Del. Rt. 1 on Friday night Feb. 8th at approx. 2130hrs. Upon arrival units found a 2nd floor unit with fire showing and occupants exiting the structure. One person was injuried and transported to Beebe Hospital in Lewes. Crews were on the scene for over two hours battling the blaze. Indian River Fire Co. stood-by at Rehoboth Sta. 2. The Delaware State Fire Marshall is investigating.
