RBVFC responded to a serious Motor Vehicle Accident on Monday, Nov. 14 at approx 2315hrs on Rt. 24 east of Lovecreek Bridge. First arriving units found a vehicle fully involved in fire with a patient lying on the side of the road, and a reported subject still in the car. After the blaze was knocked down, firefighters located the body of the driver. The injured patient was transported to BBMC in Lewes, with the DSP FAIR Team investigating. Units were on the scene for 3 hours with Rt.24 closed to traffic.
