Rehoboth Beach Firefighters were met with heavy fire on Blackpool Rd in the Rehoboth Beach Yacht and Country Club at approximately 10:45pm on Wednesday evening, May 20th.   Units found fire on the outside extending into the first and second floor that quickly traveled into the large open concept home.  A house sitter with dogs had self extricated prior to the fire department arrival.  The State Fire Marshalls office was called to the scene to investigate and there were no injuries.  Rehoboth Beach units were assisted on scene from the Lewes Fire Department, Bethany Beach Fire Company, Indian River Fire Company, Memorial Fire Company, Milton Fire Department and Sussex County EMS.  Millsboro Fire Company provided coverage to the area.
