Engine 86-2, a 1989 Grumman FireCat, was equipped with a 2,000 gpm pump, 1,000 gallon water capacity, vehicle rescue tool, and full compliment of firefighting tools. Engine 2 was purchased in 1989 as a pair with Tanker 86-5 and was the primary response engine from Station 2 located on airport rd. just off coastal hwy. Engine 2 was in service until damaged at structure fire incident on East Lake Drive in 2017 with 28 years of service.
