Jay dedicated 57 years of faithful service to the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company and to the community we proudly serve. Throughout his distinguished career, he held numerous leadership positions including President, Fire Chief, Assistant Chief, Captain, and Lieutenant.

His lifelong commitment, leadership, and mentorship have left an enduring mark on our company and on generations of firefighters who had the privilege to serve alongside him. Jay's legacy will forever remain a part of the proud history of the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company.

Funeral Service Information:

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where a viewing will begin at 10:00 AM.

Burial with Fireman’s Honors will follow at Rehoboth Presbyterian Church of Midway Cemetery, 19075 Coastal Highway, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.
