Accident w/ Entrapment - Old Landing Road

One person was transported to Beebe Medical Center in Lewes after a single car accident with rollover and entrapment on Old Landing Road north of Rehoboth Beach on Friday January 23 at approx. 7:45pm. Rehoboth Beach and Lewes fire units along with Sussex County EMS responded to find one patient trapped in the SUV in the woods on a sharp and wet curve. Rescuers worked for about 30 minutes to free the subject who was then transported to the hospital. Delaware State Police are investigating the cause.
