Water Rescue - Ocean & Delaware Ave

RBVFC crews were called for a water rescue off of Dagsworthy St. in Dewey Beach on Sunday Mat 24th. Upon arrival of Duty Officer 86-17 Chuck Snyder, a raft with two subjects aboard was observed about 300-400 yards offshore with the current pushing them rapidly north towards Rehoboth. DSP Trooper 2 was put into service using a longline to retrieve and pull the subjects to shore at Delaware Ave. in Rehoboth Beach where they were treated and released by EMS crews. .
