Life Member Kerry Nickerson - Station 86

RBVFC announces that Life Member James K. Nickerson has answered his last alarm on Thursday April 9th. Kerry, joined RBVFC in August of 1962 and became a Life Member in April of 1983. He held the offices of Asst. Engineer, Secretary, and Ambulance Secretary along with serving on many committees. Kerry was appointed to the Fire Police in 1995 and was a member of the Sussex County and Delaware State Fire Police Association's. Services will be as follows, Viewing at Melsons Funeral Home on Long Neck Road and Rt. 24 on Tuesday April 14th from 6pm-9pm. A full firemans funeral will be held on Wednesday April 15th at 11am at St. Judes Catholic Church on Del. 1 north of 5 Points near Lewes, with interment at Epworth Cemetery on Henlopen Ave. in Rehoboth Beach.
