Assist Station 80 Brush Fire - Mt Joy Rd, Cty Rd. 297

Station 86 along with several other fire departments in Sussex County assisted Indian River Sta. 80 with a large brush fire on Cty Rd. 297, off of Rt.#5 on Wednesday March 22. The blaze was driven by windy and dry conditions which hampered firefighting efforts. Over 50 acres was burned before crews got it under control.
