Structure Fire Dewey Beach

A Structure Fire at 12 Carolina St. in Dewey Beach had RBVFC members along with Mutual Aid from Lewes, Bethany Beach, Milton, Millville, Georgetown, Millsboro, Frankford, Indian River, Slaughter Beach, SCEMS and RBVFC Auxiliary busy for several hours on Monday morning October 13. Arriving Units had a Large 2-1/2 Story home heavily involved in fire with exposures on all 3 side. The Blaze happened as the Coastal Nor'easter was causing windy and rainy conditions along the Delaware Coast. 3 firefighters were transported to BBMC with minor injuries and all have been released. A Excavator was brought in to help with final extinguishment. The Delaware State Fire Marshall is Investigating.
