Small Fire at Truitts Homestead

RBVFC members responded to a reported AFA at the Truitts Homestead Assisted Living Complex on Shuttle Rd., on Saturday September 28. Upon arrival members were notified of a possible smoke condition on the 3rd Floor. Evacuation of Residents was in progress by the staff. Further information and searching found a Pot left on the Stove in one of the living units. No Damage was reported other than a mild smoke condition which was Ventilated. Fire Units cleared in about 1 hour.
