Structure Fire RBY&CC

RBVFC assisted by Lewes and Indian River responded to a residential structure fire at 10 Lands End in Rehoboth Beach Yacht & Country Club on Monday February 27th at 12:30 pm. Units arrived to find a fire on the roof and possibly in the attic area of the home. After gaining access a fire was discovered in the attic area as a result of a Possible failure of the Solar Panels on the rear roof. Fire was burning under the panels in the tree debris which had gathered. Crews did a quick knockdown and limited damage to the attic and some water damage to the 2nd floor. Unit were on scene for approx. 90 minutes. The Delaware State Fire Marshal is investigating.
