Water Rescue Rehoboth Bay

Rehoboth Firefighters were called to assist a person with a Kite Board in the Rehoboth Bay at New Road south of Dewey Beach on Saturday Jan 14, to get in to shore after High Winds prevented him from doing it. The subject was eventually pushed ashore by the wind and water several hundred yards from where he started. Members assisted him back to the parking area where he was checked by EMS and found OK.
