Rehoboth Beach Firefighters assisted by Lewes, Bethany Beach, Milton, Indian River, Millsboro and Sussex County Paramedics, responded to a Structure Fire at 21 Westside Drive in the Rehoboth Beach Yacht and Country Club Development west of Coastal Highway at 3:56am on Wednesday August 17th. Crews arrived to find Fire Showing from the House which was occupied and with all subjects out after being alerted by the the Smoke Alarm System in the residence. Firefighters battled the flames for 2 hours before bringing it under control at 5:42am. Fire Crews remained on scene until 7:45 extinguishing hot spots, before clearing the incident. No injuries were reported as the Delaware State Fire Marshall is investigating. Thank You to all the Mutual Aid Companies for their assistance at the scene and stand-by's.
