Accident Warrington Rd & John J. Williams Highway

RBVFC Members were dispatched to a Serious 2 Vehicle Accident on Friday June 17 at Warrington Rd. & John J. Williams Highway. Crews arrived to find a head on collision with several people injured. 5 Patients had to be extracted from the cars with 1 taking almost 1 hour. 2 patients were transported by Helicopters to Christiana Hospital, 2 were Transported to BayHealth and 4 to Beebe Medical Center. Lewes Fire Dept. assisted at the scene along with Millsboro and Mid-Sussex providing additional Ambulance's. Delaware State Police are investigating. All Fire Units cleared the incident in about 2 1/2 hours.
