New Rescue-Engine placed In-Service

RBVFC has placed in service a New Pierce 2018 Enforcer Rescue-Engine. The unit will be ID'ed as Rescue 86-6. It has a 2000 gpm Waterous Pump with a 1000 gallon tank and 30 gallon foam tank with a Husky Foam System. a compliment of 1000 feet of 5" Hose along with 4-225' handlines and a 2-1/2" Blitz Line are included. LED Scene Lighting including a Light Tower mounted on the cab provide improved brightness. Holmatro Rescue Equipment is mounted in a rear compartment with a 10kw Generator to power it along with 2-200' cord reels. A full array of Hand Tools and Portable Power Tools, and Junkyard Dogs are on the truck. Rope Rescue Equipment and a 24' Extension & 12' Roof Ladder along with a Little Giant Ladder are included. 6 SCBA's with 10 spare bottles are also on the unit. A 4-Gas Meter along with TIC Camera and 4-Portable Radios add to avaliable equipment for the members. The unit is at Station 2 on Coastal Highway.
