Assist 82 with Townhouse Fire

Fire Units from Rehoboth Beach, assisted Lewes, Milton, Slaughter Beach, Georgetown, Indian River which responded to a 2 Alarm Townhouse Fire at Carter Way near Lewes off of New Road on Monday morning at approx. 1am. Arriving Units found fire and smoke coming through the roof as residents were being evacuated by local police. 3 units in the 5 home complex were heavily damaged by the flames as crews worked for over 4 hours to bring the incident under control. No injuries were reported as the Delaware State Fire Marshall is investigating.
