Water Rescue in Dewey Beach

A person was rescued from the Atlantic Ocean off of Carolina Street in Dewey Beach early Wednesday morning Nov. 23rd, by fire crews from Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Co. and the Lewes Fire Boat, assisted by DNREC. The victim was transported to Beebe Medical Center by Sussex County EMS and Lewes Fire Dept. ambulance after arriving at the Lewes Fire Boat Dock.
