Donor Sticker Campaign
Thursday, March 10, 2016
Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company kicked off its donor sticker campaign. The campaign is to help defray the cost of its new Fire Station 2 and general support for the volunteer fire company. The kick off sticker campaign start was held at the McDonalds on Coastal Highway. McDonalds’ owner, Mike Meoli, is one of the major supporters of this campaign. Mike said, “I am proud to support the men and women of Rehoboth Beach’s Volunteer Fire Company, they volunteer to serve our community and protect our families day in and day out. I would hope many more would join with me and become a supporter.”
The coordinator for the campaign is Carrie Lingo with Jack Lingo, REALTOR. According to Mrs. Lingo, “The Lingo family has been supporters of the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company for many years. I am happy to help them with this worthy endeavor. Volunteer firefighters are among the most dedicated citizens in our community. I hope to see hundreds of these stickers in business windows and on the back of automobiles. They truly deserve our support.” “We appreciate the work that Mrs. Lingo, and the Lingo Family have put into this campaign to help us move forward. We want to sincerely thank Mr. Meoli and the others who have stepped up to be early campaign supporters for us. We hope to announce the names of many others in the future as this campaign progresses. Paying for the cost of this Fire Station is extremely important to this fire company, added Rehoboth’s President Ronnie Blizzard.” The sticker campaign is a multi-leveled program.
