House Fire-Rehoboth Beach

Rehoboth Beach assisted by Lewes, Bethany Beach, Indian River, Roxana and Millville fire units responded to a Structure Fire at 504 Bayard Avenue on Monday night January 18th at 1153 pm in downtown Rehoboth Beach. Arriving units found fire and smoke coming from the 2 story home that was unoccupied at the time of the alarm. Cold weather hampered fire crews as they battled the blaze for over 3 hours to bring it under control. No injuries were reported as the Delaware State Fire Marshall is investigating the cause.
