Structure Fire-Dewey Beach

Rehoboth Beach & Lewes Fire crews responded to a structure fire at 107 McKinley Street in Dewey Beach on Saturday September 26 at approx. 1158 hrs. Upon arrival firefighters found smoke coming from the 2nd floor area. Crews quickly extinguished the blaze but not before heavy smoke and heat damage was done to the residence which was unoccupied at the time. No injuries were reported with firefighters on the scene for 1 1/2 hours. The Delaware State Fire Marshall is investigating.
