Tanker 86-5 | 1989 Gruman FireCat

Designated as "Tanker 86", 86-5 was a 1989 Grumman FireCat chassis with tandem rear axles, a 2,000 gpm pump, 2,500 gallon water capacity, Holmatro vehicle rescue tool, and a full compliment of structural firefighting equipment. Tanker 86 originally was housed at Station 2 on Airport Rd. off coastal hwy and was later moved to better cover the more rural and less hydrant covered Angola Beach area with the construction of Station 3. Tanker 86 was sold via sealed bid in 2021 and replaced with a new Pierce Enforcer Engine.
