Engine 86-4 | 2010 Pierce Velocity Engine
Engine 86-4 originally designated as Engine 86-9 is the first piece of Pierce fire apparatus purchased by the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company. A 2010 Pierce Velocity Chassis Engine it is equipped with 1,500 gpm pump, 750 gallon water capacity, 30 gallon foam tank and HUSKY foam system, light tower, remote operated deck gun, vehicle rescue tools, and full compliment of structural firefighting tools. Engine 4 was chosen for its shorter wheel base helping it navigate the tight and congested streets of downtown Rehoboth Beach.
**This unit was re-designated Engine 86-4 in December 2025 with the purchase of the "Duty Chief" Vehicle 86-9 | 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe 4x4 PPV**
